This is what I hate about working - not time for Skyrim or FM at hte minute which is a right bollock.

Re: ES V: Skyrim
Started my warrior today, managed to play it for about 14 hours straight. Got Speechcraft and Blacksmithing to 100, nearly level 30..which is higher than my original sneak character or my mage ever got.
Really loving the warrior. How do you get the decaptiations? I can't seem to find the perk, or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.

Re: ES V: Skyrim
warrior is king! to get the decapitations there's a perk you have to unlock on the single hand weapon skill tree. however decapitations only occur randomly once you unlock it. when I got it, it seems that if you Sprint at an enemy then swipe it works.
just started oblivion again, amazing how different it is!

Ah, I see it now...clearly blind. Really loving the warrior setup, as well as how some of the kills show. It really feels as if this is how the game was intended to be played.

Re: ES V: Skyrim
warrior is the best way to play - none of that magic or sneaking crap - just beating the crap out of everything that stands in your way ftw

Yeah after watching youtube and from how you get on with NPCs, it does look like a Nord Warrior was how the game was meant to be. Shall give it a go sometime.

Re: ES V: Skyrim
Nord Warrior was definitely the class they had in mind while making the game. I've never looked back since choosing it

BTW, anyone came across any other interesting side quests? Done all of the main ones except final Thieves Guild. Any recommendations? Already done Night to Remember before it's suggested

Re: ES V: Skyrim
I've done some Daedric ones according to the stats but I don't know what they were? Remind me? Night to Remember starts in The Bannered Mare in Whiterun, approach some guy and he asks you to have a drinking contest with him....epic

Marrying a goat then selling it to a giant is always epic!

Re: ES V: Skyrim
Ah found them all here http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Daedric_Quests
Done about half of them maybe, will start working my way through them in a bit but just started a side quest having to get someone's sword from a Dwerven ruin. Hate the bloody dwervens.

Got 15 or so books to get still. I hate the Dwarven ruins that lead into Falmer ruins and it takes you forever to clear.

That's exactly what it was, but a relatively short one.Jamie wrote:Got 15 or so books to get still. I hate the Dwarven ruins that lead into Falmer ruins and it takes you forever to clear.
Just had 5 mammoths and 4 giants chase me across the map. Good times!

Despise that place. Nearly gave up on the story quest because of that place!
Also, being chased by giants is not good! I hate it when you can hear them right behind you!

Re: ES V: Skyrim
Fuck. Took the Rueful Axe instead of the Mask on one of the quests, and having already done the one where you can supposedly get two items and I only got one as after the hunters were dead, the werewolf attacked me...I'm not getting Oblivion Walker on that character.
All other Achievements completed though.

Re: ES V: Skyrim
Strangest thing happened to me the other day whilst playing. Decided to go for a dander from Whiterun to Windfell (had some ledgers to forge there) and on the way I found an old fort that had been overrun by a variety of mages/conjurers etc. A random mercenary was being attacked by them just outside, and seeing as I'm no fan of magic or any of that poncy rubbish, I decided to wipe them all out. Worked my way through the fort, striking down all those who opposed me and eventually worked my way to the interior of the fort. After killing a couple more conjurers, I could hear a commotion round the corner. I walk round to find some mages being attacked by someone in what looked like Daedric armour. After he pwned them all, I got closer to find out it was Sanguine (aka Sanguine of that certain quest involving a goat and a giant). was the strangest thing ever watching him randomly show up where I was and help me tear down the entire place. Anyone else come across anything like this?

Re: ES V: Skyrim
Yeah Ive had a few of the characters Ive met, go on wee raiding parties in forts et all just like that. Theres also a total cunt of an area (cant recall where) with a fuckload of crazy bitch ass mages come at ye from the trees, followed by the odd dozen troll. Its rather nasty.
