Re: 360 Winnage
Got started into Oblivion last night....this will be me set for a looooooooooong time! Loving it so far.
As for Bioshock, deleted it straight after playing the demo. Didnt see the appeal. Like what they tried to do and all, but there is a line you draw with a games enjoyment when zombie like children get mutilated. Not for me really.

Re: 360 Winnage
Following the release of the well-received Portal 2 in April, Valve marketing director Doug Lombardi said the puzzle game would receive free downloadable content over the summer. However, summer has come and gone without further word on the DLC.
Portal 2 gets more co-op content next week.
Valve ended its silence today, titling the complimentary DLC "Portal 2: Peer Review" and scheduling it to arrive simultaneously on the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 next Tuesday, October 4.
The pack continues the cooperative adventures of P-Body and Atlas, who will ultimately take on GLaDOS in a new test track. The pack also includes a Challenge mode playable both in single-player and co-op, as well as leaderboard support.

Re: 360 Winnage
Dammit, why did I trade it in?!
In other news, Forza 4 reviews have cropped up... Clicky
I think I'll give it a miss to be honest and just stick with Forza 3 - due to the apparently over-familiar single player and lack of new tracks, I can't really see any reason to get it. Maybe when there's a bit of a price drop.

Re: 360 Winnage
Only games I'm really interested in atm are Battlefield 3 and Skyrim. Acquired Oblivion for my laptop so have been playing it again and forgot how good it is, so Skyrim is a must! Maybe for Christmas or something

Re: 360 Winnage
haven't had much of a look at it yet but so far not too sure on it. don't like the fact that it seems to prioritize social apps and video over its main purpose - gaming.
saying that it does look nice but I would take the very original dashboard over this or the previous one any day

Re: 360 Winnage
Microsoft have hit the nail on the head with it though, its now not designed just for gaming but for a whole entertainment system in one machine that can cover anything - if you have the bandwidth for it. MS know what they are doing and I think they have sussed it bang on. Can see it bringing a whole new dimension to the 360 and helping it live longer than it would have if it was game centric.

Re: 360 Winnage
It's true that Microsoft have gone down the best route for them as a company in terms of branching out, I just find it disappointing that there's so much more focus on these other aspects. I'd take a straight up games console any day - don't bother with any of the other features on it. It's still miles ahead of PS3 though, it's dashboard is a complete catastrophe, still can't understand the logic behind it's design.
