So its loosely tied to XBOX/PS3.... in that the console version is released in october-ish.

Its supposed to roll out on pc before the end of the month.

Apparently... its going to be the first GOOD jurassic park game. And ties into the subplots of the film, and from what i've seen looks pretty epic

Actually looks quite good, ESP filling in the plot details. Dino crisis was also WIN.

Saw a bit of gameplay there on gamespot.... looks a bit like heavy rain - which was actually awesome.

PC review should be out before too long though i expect

yeah saw that both are basically going to be like heavy rain, which i never got playing, shall be fun to see. Based on the vet who was at the triceratops ftw

If it's anything like Heavy Rain, then I shall avoid lol, seriously did not enjoy that game at all

If its closer to a movie than a game, doubt id spend money on it, but if its actual game-type...game...it could be interesting. I dont want to push buttons to just move forward a narrative.

I did spot that! It looks great, hopefully it does well, really want LA Noire to do same.

Still not sure what to make of this game when it finally appears, apart from the fact that these bastards are incredibly annoying presenters...(in fact, on that note, am I the only one who thinks all the IGN/GameSpot etc etc presenters for anything are all horrid people trying to make gaming trendy for the masses?)

read yesterday that its being made in the same way that the back to the future series was..... and released in episodic sequences.

Now.... while I was really excited for this game, and it was almost a dead cert purchase. Ill not be paying for a series of episodes..... especially if theyre just like BTTF. Only ever played the back to the future trial for about a minute.... needless to say the thought of a repeat has put me right off

Never been awfully convinced by this game to be honest. As a general rule of thumb, I tend to avoid games based on movie or TV licenses. Graphically too, as Alan said, it's not great, looks more like something that has been in development since the beginning of the Xbox360 and they've never bothered to update the graphics. I'll wait for a review though, you never know!
