Looking forward to it, but I'll probs leave it till Christmas - Battlefield 3 will keep me well occupied till then. Will also give me something to look forward to on Christmas.

Ordinary games deserve the scales. Skyrim deserves bending over and letting it molest you.

I've only done a small part of the main storyline. I caught a whiff of the Dark Brotherhood's scent and was off to them as I loved all of that in Oblivion. The quest arc to become a member is much more satisfying than Oblivion's "Kill a random innocent person."

I'm dissapointed that there appears to be no arena type fixture but I guess I got to spend more time hunting down dragons. There are a ton of creatures that can bring a world of pain to you rather fast. I am level ten and just got one hit by a giant that I accidently stuck an arrow into.

Trolls as well, fuck trolls. I hate them. When I see them, I run.
The Dark Brotherhood side of the game in this is supposed to be beyond epic win according to a few reviews, although some said the dragon fights get old after a while. ...Honestly dont expect myself to get bored of them with the way I grind on FF games.

Heard a lot on forums about trolls and giants...saw a video on youtube with someone being battered about 50foot in the air by one...didnt stand a chance at all!

Yeah I went a bit too GTA-like when I originally got the game, breaking into peoples houses and stealing everything I could, then trying...trying to fight the guards who came to arrest me, obivously it never worked out! What I love about the game is you can cut out a lot of walking to each town/city by using the map, or you go explore yourself and end up finding 40 dungeons to explore with baddies down them, or end up killing deer and highwaymen.

The Arena in Oblivion is class in teh first major city - cant recall its name - first few fights are easily done, then it gets pretty hard, but fun nonetheless.

Great games though, cant wait for Skyrim to arrive.

Mes thinks thatll be the last game Ill get for a long time, plenty to play for now.

Only paid £18 for it so no complaints. Razz The campaign itself was actually quite good, albeit very short (5 hours it took me). Looking forward to going to get SkyWIN tomorrow

Just before BF3 came out I was thinking of cancelling the order and getting Skyrim preordered instead, retrospect that was probably the better idea, no need for another shooty clone game again, but still, should have this Wednesdayish.

Battlefield is a good alternative when you tire of playing too much single-player games - nice wee change shooting some people across the world. Saying that, cannae wait to get Skyrim. GAME are offering it for £4.99 if you trade in MW3. So for the price of £23 I've managed to complete MW3 and hopefully get Skyrim too.

Alan, how far along have you gotten in the Assassin Creeds? I really want Revelation, though I don't want to pay full price for it so I am going to wait until it comes down.

I'm not working until 1 today...I've gotten up for some Skyrimming (I will continue to use Skyrim as a verb, thank you Bethesda for this addition to my language.)

Never really got into the AC games to be honest, played 1 and 2 from Gilroy, but 1 got old real fast and I never really got into Enzio's story in two for some reason.

I think the idea behind the AC games is better than how they actually pull it off.

Skyrim dispatched. Win bus.

Assassin's Creed is a brilliant idea and a good game but it tires too quickly. The first one was more of a technical demo, saying "here's what we can do". The second was a proper adventure but got boring after a while. Just feel with all the new ones coming out, they're sort of milking it.

After playing 2 hours of Skyrim, I have decided it should be renamed to SkyWINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Hahaha Skywin; legendary. I love the storyline and hope the movie plans don't fall through because if Ubisoft do it right, it'd be a legendary film.

I do enjoy playing them but the main reason I propel myself through them is the story; can't wait to find out what happens at the end of this one as the cliffhangar that Brotherhood ended on has been eating away at me. I am always intrigued by unsolved mysteries damnit.

Killed a dragon in a random encounter there and then got killed by a bear afterwards. What sort of world can you slay a dragon with a little bit of effort but a bear seems to be too much..it was confusing.
